OWNER
BRANDON PETERSON
Brandon grew up in Savage, MN, and graduated from Burnsville High School in 2010 as an All-State shortstop and pitcher. He went on to play at Des Moines Area Community College, reaching back-to-back Junior College World Series, before transferring to Wichita State University, where he became the closer for the Shockers and earned First Team All-Conference and Missouri Valley Newcomer of the Year. Drafted in the 13th round by the Minnesota Twins, Brandon played five years professionally with the Twins, LA Angels of Anaheim, and St. Paul Saints, earning multiple honors including Twins Pitcher of the Month, Relief Pitcher of the Year, and Minor League All-Star. Now the owner of The Shed Athletics, Brandon oversees operations and supports all skill development, bringing his professional experience and passion for the game to every athlete who trains here.

DIRECTOR OF THROWING
LINCOLN HOCHMUTH
Lincoln pitched at Augsburg University for four years before moving into coaching at the youth, high school, club, and college levels. In 2019 he became Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at North Iowa Area CC and was promoted to Head Coach in 2022, earning ICCAC Coach of the Year after setting the program’s single-season wins record. Over his three years at NIACC, the Trojans sent more than 50 players to four-year schools, including 30+ to Division I. In 2023, he was invited to the Texas Rangers Coaches ID Program, where he connected with top minds in player development. At The Shed Athletics, Lincoln leads all throwing development with a focus on biomechanics and pitch design, helping pitchers move efficiently, refine their arsenal, and compete at the highest level.

DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE
GRIFFIN WITTA
Griffin has been training athletes for the past three years, working with youth, high school, collegiate, and professional baseball players, as well as quarterbacks at the collegiate and professional levels. A former junior college player at NIACC, his own arm injuries sparked a passion for anatomy, biomechanics, and effective strength and conditioning. His focus is on building well rounded overhead and rotational athletes who can handle the demands of their sport. Griffin is certified in Applied Biomechanics and as a Certified Throwing Athlete Specialist (CTAS), he is relentless in his pursuit of high performance.

HITTING COACH
JOSH THREKELD
Josh Threkeld is an experienced baseball coach with a proven track record at the college, high school, and private training levels. He served as Head Coach at Century College (2019–2021), where he moved on 35+ student-athletes, earned 2021 MCAC Coach of the Year, and oversaw all aspects of the program. His background includes roles as Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Indian Hills CC, Graduate Assistant at Minnesota State–Mankato (teams finished 2nd and 3rd nationally), and current Hitting Coach at Prior Lake High School. Threkeld is recognized for developing athletes who excel on the field, in the classroom, and beyond the game.
